I think the only Klipsch that impresses me so far is the KL650-THX Ultra2 speakers, which has a Listening Window FR of +/- dB, which is confirmed by both AH & HTM. And you can get them for about $750 each new (MSRP is $1500 each new).

I hate to tell you, but if you like a system that's vibrating floors and walls you're just getting into the hobby, that's not what good sound is all about. Now if you would hook them amps up to some real Klipsch you would notice a difference for sure. These are some good amps.

Walter that is what you like, some people like to hear the room shake.. I know with HT I like the lows ran hot with a strong front end and a comfortable chair... but with music I want crisp clean and clear, not overly loud and distorted..

I don't like my room or house shaking. That scares me. Stresses me out.

But I do like red hot bass that is tight and punchy that I can hear and feel in my bones.

Before I used Audyssey Bypass L/R + DEQ, it seems like the room and house had to be shaken like a ragdoll in order to get that tight punchy bass.

But now that I use Audyssey Bypass + DEQ, the room and house doesn't seem to shake as much and the bass is actually a lot tighter and punchier than before.

It's may seem strange, but before the walls in my HT room, kitchen, and adjacent bedroom walls would shake like crazy. But now, the walls OUTSIDE my HT room don't even shake. The walls inside my HT room still shakes, but not nearly as much as before. Yet, subjectively I feel like the bass has more presence and impact - a lot punchier and tighter. Or perhaps smoother bass response than before.

Before you did not engage Audyssey at all so you relied on your manual tuning to tame the subs. Audyssey may not do it for everyone overall but they do a decent job EQ'ing subs. I do find DEQ's effect is insignificant in my HT room if I have the volume set to -15 or higher otherwise it is a must for me in order to get the bass you describe and the surround effects as well.

Since I had my deff tecks I've noticed a big difference in the bass. They raddle the house in a different way than my klipsh sub did. What I mean is when I walk down stairs or step out side I can hear the gutters, Windows, siding rattle a different way. Does that make since?

nope............... sounds like you are taking the same placebo as acudef, lol

Lol! Possible. There is a difference. But might be because of speaker placement. The sub is a down firing sub very thick carpet and the def tecks have two 8 powered subs on both sides of the wall.
