I like this show a lot, but I fear it is too "smart" for the masses and will be cancelled or short lived... Mathew Mc is amazing in it, I like that he is leaving the "pretty boy" behind and letting his talent as an actor push his career...

This show is awesome! Shaping up to be one of, if not, the best TV show I have seen. I do agree though that it may be too smart for the masses. I had a friend watch the first two episodes, and he cant get into it. I said it is somewhat slow going, but building to some crazy ****. I also think you need to pay pretty good attention to it in order to understand how nuts it really is.

All I know is I cant wait for Sunday now!

We saw the whole first season last week. Couldn't just watch one or two.
This one is a winner. Acting is very good too.
It's not a show you can casually watch, you have to listen closely and watch for the details.

Anyone watching season 2 ?
A question for those watching - what do you think of the dialogue?
We're having to rewind a few times to to figure what's being said.
I like it, just not as much as season one.

I loved s01 of True Detective.

I thought s02 utterly sucked.

I hope future seasons are like s01 and absolutely nothing like s02.
