looking for help on htib

i wanted to buy a home theatre, decided to go for onkyo 3400, but on hearing yamaha 196, the details and surround was way better, so i started looking for yamaha system with better specs and shortlisted Yamaha YHT-397, yht 597 and yht 697.
please help me with it, the deeper i go, more confusing it gets, also help me on whether i should go for onkyo or yamaha. thanks.

Welcome to the forum, I would not get an HTIB, what it your actual budget?
this would beunder $500 and be a good fit for most people...

hey, thanks for the suggestion, but im from gujarat, india, so getting those would be a problem. also i looked up, there arent any service centres for it. the reason im looking for htib is my friend is visiting dubai, and i heard elctronics can get very cheap over there (i got my ps3 for half the price)
also, my room is small and cannot go for the towers. thanks anyway.
