Well, enjoy it.

Actually, the best time to ask for comments is before you order it, not after.

Hey Eakat,

Welcome to AH. You got some good feedback in the other thread:

http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/beginners-audiophytes/88905-new-ht-system-what-do-you-thing-about-configuration.html

The bottom line is that the speakers will be what the system as a whole sounds like so ... take what those other guys said to heart. They're good guys ... and Mark is mostly okay. :D

What have you had a chance to listen to in terms of speakers? What's available down in Venezuela?

Thx Alex. I'm trying to decid what to get to do not over expend too much in this new HT.
The receiver I'm considering do get another one also the subwoofer.
The point with the speaker is I do not have a lot of space in my tv room, and I do not want Bose HT, So I tought to buy something better as a good receiver, good set of speaker and a good sub as well.
The point is there is tons of new technology in regards the receiver, wi fi, airplay, etc....so what to get.......

I'm pretty sure there was an AH article on entry level rec'rs and mid priced rec'rs. $500 and $1,000 price ranges. Figure out what speakers you want first. There's plenty going on with those Pioneer speakers everybody is going on about recently. They're cheap and sound very good for the money. You're going to have to do some searching and reading. Listening to speakers is better than anything to help you choose.

I like the sub choice. Don't short yourself there but maybe wait on that and put the money into speakers for now. It's slow here on the weekends but stick around and help will come. Setting up a HT shouldn't be a race. Is it to be set up in a house or apartment? Do you need speakers to go really loud? Those answers will help with suggestions.

it's a tv room in apartment, and do not need then to go really loud. that's why I thing in this Polk set RM85 - USD 260 , with a good receiver was thing in Yamaha RX-a830 usd 650 and sub CSV Pb 1000 usd 500 or JBL ES250 usd 200.

for my outdoor space I choose something more loud as the 2 Definitive Technology AW 6500 Outdoor Speaker powered by AudioSource AMP-100 Stereo Power Amplifier connect to apple airport express.

Skip the JBL sub - JBL tends to have some amp problems.
How much is your max budget for speakers?

Hi Zieglj,
I was think to spend up to 500 on speakers, or up to 700/ 800 including the Sub.
My main point is to get a mid size speakers, not to big because I have not many room for it.
What would you recommend ?? Do you think that Yamaha RX a830 is a good receiver?
