Egg Nogg, now I want some. I have no rum, can I make it out of Crown, Scotch or Vodka?

I've always made mine with whiskey or bourbon so you should be able to do it with Crown. Give it a shot and see what happens.

Im not using my good scotch
This is the only time of the year ive got a good excuse to drink it.

I went out and got the special select spiced rum from the captin. I find a full shot of rum, and 4 shots of the Nogg in a mid sized coffee mug to be perfect.

The liquor store in the little town I work in was closed for the holiday so no go for me.

After we ski tomorrow I'll try that ratio.

Im using XO

I use Brandy w/ egg nog, but I use VS or VSOP for that kind of stuff.

My rule is XO or older for sipping for MYSELF!

VSOP for mixed drinks for myself or for sipping with others.

VS for cooking or for mixed/drinks sipping for people who wouldn't appreciate the differences between VSOP/XO, etc.

That's alls I'm saying.

By the by, I also use brandy (not good cognac though) for egg nog.

Ok, I stood my zone 3 amp on it's end and put it on the floor behind the credenza. Works fine and you can't see it.

yep, thats why i like the tva50 from niles, thin enough to mount behind furniture ( and for both local and distributed audio in on box)
