Has anyone got this and checked out the CD in a dedicated 2ch setup? How is the audio quality? It's always made me sad that most of my Zepp discs are pretty poor as far as recordings go.

I don't know about that, but the most recent dvd has superb audio. I mean, superb.

I have listened to it on my system, but I don't have a dedicated two-channel setup. I only listened to it once, and only part of it. I don't recall it being either spectacularly good (or I would have listened more than once) or spectacularly bad.

if you can seek out the earliest Zep releases (I, II, III, IV and HotH) they sound excellent

(the original Barry Diament - I, II, III, HoTH - and Joel Sidore - IV- releases, not the remasters)

Mothership is too loud compared to these

Actually, it's quite good! I also have the Vinyl version, which I prefer.

I got the new Limited Edition Zep Boxset from Japan for Christmas. Great sound! These are SH-M cd's and are in mini lp sleeve's. I have the Mothership 2 cd set as well and these sound much better.......warmer, spacious, imho.
