So I upgraded my receiver for $50...and everything worked fine.
Anyways, my HTPC OS drive died and I had to rebuild it. After that, things changed.
The issue I am running into is that now, when the receiver is turned on, and I am using HDMI.
All of my HDMI sources are not using the full screen. The bottom 3" is showing the Yamaha background.
When I turn the stereo off, HDMI passthrough allows the picture to be full screen.
Troubleshooting steps:
All video processing that the receiver might do is turned off.
I have swapped around HDMI cables. All are CL2 from Monoprice.
I have tried different TV inputs.
I have tried different HDMI inputs on the receiver.
The laptop is outputing full 1080p/60.
No HDMI audio. Using Optical in from TV, and laptop.
