I recently purchased a Samsung UN46B7000 LED TV, Yamaha RX-V1900, and Intelix DIGI-HDMI-IR balum to interface the Yamaha to TV from media closet over 50 feet. The balum works fine when connected directly to my DVR, HD receiver, or Samsung bluray. When I try it through the Yamaha HDMI 4 to 1 switcher I get no picture on any selection. When I bypass the belum and connect Yamaha directly to Samsung TV via 15 foot HDMI cable all works.
Does anyone have any insight as to why the Yamaha reciever is not working with the Intelix belum successfully? Both claim HDMI 1.3a compatibility.
Any recomendations on how to connect the Yamaha to TV over 50 feet if I can not resolve the issue with Yamaha/Intelix? The main reason I choice the Yamaha was for the built in matrix switch.
