This is a perfect top-quality receiver for someone on a budget. It has served me well for four years. I am the original owner, and I purchased the unit new.
This receiver has 7.1 pre-outs, and it has been used as a pre-pro for the last three years.
HDMI work-around.
This unit does
not have HDMI. I have been sending HDMI(video) straight to my tv from my blu-ray player, and I have been sending the audio on blu-ray via 5.1 analog to the receivers multi-channel inputs. All other audio has been sent digital(coax). Optical(toslink) is available as well.

I replaced this receiver with a Yamaha RX-Z7.
I also have two dvd players listed for sell that work well with this receiver.
