Help Me!

I'm about to by a s2700 player, and i have a question for you!

A bud from the US is bying the player for me, and i live in norway. So i have to hack it so it becomes a Multi-region player.
Of course it now plays only region 1 disc's, but will i experience any problems when playing region 2 disc's after the hack, that you know of??

Appretiate any help!

Many thanks

Dear Vasylek,

I read your reviews on the DVD-S2700 with great interest! Thanks! :)

Just wondering if the region-free hack is just as easy as you mentioned. It is quite important to me to make the DVD-S2700 regio free "code 0", since I own many region 1 and region 2 DVD's. I guess around half of them is region 1. I own a Yamaha DVD-S795 from the year 2000 (geting out-dated) and I remember here it wasn't possible to just do some easy hacking. They really had to open it up and go inside to make it work... Please confirm if it's just as easy as this.

P.S. Which kind of Amplifier / Receiver do you have? Also a Yamaha? I'm thinking about getting the RX-V2700 as well. (Have a DSP-A1 GOLD from 2000 right now)
