Hello all,
I have just put together my home theater system.
The list is as follows:
Yamaha 5790 reciever
Samsung hd-841dvd(DVI to T.V.)
Klipsch KLF-20's (front bi-wired through the reciever)
Klipsch KV-2 center
Klipsch SB-15 front presence
Klipsch SF-3's rear surround(I know there crappy best buy, but for 300.00 a pair)
Klipsch RS-35's 6.1+7.1
Klipsch RW-12 Sub front
Klipsch KG-SW sub rear
Hitachi 50v500 hdtv

My question is can I or should I look into a separate amp for my system. I meen I could not pass up the deal I got on the reciever. I bought a complete Klipsch speaker package with the 5790(at best buy), Sold most of the speakers and ended up only spending 500.00 for the recieverand a pair of Klipsch SF-3's. I have read that with all of the speakers hooked up I'm only maybe pushing 50-60 watts per channel. Now with the fronts being bi-wired is there acually more going to them. My surrounds just aren't as lively as I would have liked. Don't get me wrong It all sounds great but could it be better, will my 5790 perform well as a pre-amp or should I look into going all separates?
Thanks in advance Denver
