Yahama RX-V471 Connection/Setup question

I have a Yamaha RX-V471 with the following connections:

Blu-Ray DVD player: HDMI out to HDMI 1
Notebook Computer: HDMI out to HDMI 2

RCA patch cable out from Yamaha RX-V471 to a NEC large screen monitor RCA in.

The NEC large screen monitor is not equiped with HDMI so I have to utilize the RCA cable.

Will this configuration work? What do I need to do on the Yamaha receiver to make this work? I can go directly from the Blu-Ray player to the monitor via RCA and get a picture but when going from the Yamaha receiver to the monitor, there isn't any picture.

Really appreciate the help on this, thanks...

You will have to use the same connection type to the receiver as to the TV. You cannot downconvert from HDMI to component with any receiver due to content protection (HDCP).
