I will be a running a zone two output off my yamaha 1500 into the kitchen for seperate amp in there to run some ceiling speakers in the kitchen bathroom and hallway. I have one of these amps laying around and was wondering if I would be able to use it to run them. It is a TOA P-924 power amp, 240W RMS, but I think its meant for pro audio or commercial type. Here is a link to the specs on it:

http://www.toaelectronics.com/amp0002.asp

I would run a combination of speakers to get a 4 ohm output, rather then use the 70V output it has. I am just wondering if its going to make the speakers sound ok or like crap? Or only one way to find out?

Thanks for the help

Looks like a high-quality installed-sound amp, which is exactly what you're looking to use it for. I don't see any problems.
