which DIY amp sounds better? T? Chip? D?, etc.

Class D?
Chip Amp?
Class T?

All things being equal, which sounds best?

Seems like everyone in Europe is building their own DIY amps but not much is happening stateside. Has anyone had experience with DIY amps, kits or amp parts?

Thanks,

Greg

I would personally opt for a traditional Class A or Class A/B amp. While it's possible, it's hard to build a class D amp correctly that will have good power handling and low distortion.

gainclone

I would check out a gainclone. Real easy and fun to build. Try the audiosector LM3875 kit it sounds sweet.
