But in smaller quantities?
I found these guys that sell OC703 in a case of 6 boards.

I just need enough fill for a single small sealed kappa encosure (1.25 f^3). Oh and while I'm at it, is OC703 what I want for this or should I just throw a pillow in there?
Ideally you'd use 6lb mineral wool which can be purchased at an insulation store. I suggest you find a local one to hook you up. The stuff is pretty cheap.

If your in a hurry or too lazy to go that route. Head to home depot and pick up a roll of fiber for 10 bucks. It's 3.5" thick and if you double it on the back wall it will do it's job of killing the backwave. Make sure you add some volume to the back for the fiber/wool treatments. Also make sure you brace your box. I suggest using oak in a dense rib style matrix of bracing. For a sub you can get away with ever 8" for the bracing.

Thanks everyone. I went with a 2" sheet of mineral wool from mcmaster. I couldn't find any insulation supply stores nearby. Little weird that you don't see what the shipping cost will be at any point in the ordering process with mcmasters.

Are you kidding?

Insulation is used in every town. A phonebook would probably be all you need to find a place.

i usually just called them to place an order and they told me what the cost was. However they are really a distributor for contractors and i think they may hhave accounts and stuff.. although they seem nice enough even when i ordered 1 pack of rubber washers :)

http://www.atsacoustics.com/ also sells single sheets of OC703/705 and 6lb mineral wool for ~$15 a sheet, i think it was about $20 shipped for a sheet of 2" oc703. If you click on the 6 pack you will see a link to the singles.

Most folks test order to see how a company is before they put in big orders. But anytime you get an easy customer you love it. I think we can all relate.

It was delivered from McMasters so fast I couldn't believe it. Shipping was extremely reasonable at $7. Definitely easier than driving around town.

I am blown away at the vast amount of stuff they cary. when i get bakc to making room treatments I'm for sure getting it from there.. it seems to be close enough to the OC703 but cheaper and easier to find.

Check out www.mcmaster.com

One can order a single sheet of 2' x4' x 2" mineral wool/rockwool for about $12.00 plus shipping. It works as well or better than the OC options.

Edit: I did not see that a few have suggested this option already. :)
