OK guys I have a question but first my gear:

Onkyo tx sr 605
LG bd 370
lg 50pj350

here is te deal. when I incert a music cd and slect the input on the reciever, the tv comes on and the music plays. when I shut off the tv and nothing else the reciever clicks the blu ray player keeps going and the sond stops. turn back on the tv sound comes back. I do not want the tv going to listen to a cd any help would be great

Just a WAG

Sounds like some of your devices use the same codes for different functions. i.e. the receiver's code to switch inputs is the same as what turns the TV on, or some such.

I reached for the higher shelf at the liquor store and the problem stopped......
