vizio flickering

vizio vw37l 20a turned the backlight setting all the way down and it stopped flickering (like a strobe light) as i adjust the backlight up, the flicker speed increases, any ideas what board may be going bad or if its just a power supply?

Email them and tell them the issue and maybe they can sell you the parts you need. I've dealt with them when my Vizio had the blinking light issue and they sold me the part I needed and never had an issue until it drowned: Vizio TV Parts Let me know how it turns out.

I would do (and have done) what afterlife2 suggested. However, we actually sent our VIZIO in (well to a company I guess they contracted with her locally) since it was luckily still under the extended warranty and they fixed the problem.

To add to that, how old is the TV? If you bought your TV at Costco they will automatically include a 2 year warranty instead of the proverbial 90 day or sometimes 1 year warranty.
