This is an update to A/V resets from 7/4/13. It was suggested that I may need to use an HDMI cable with RedMere Technology. I ordered this cable, it was delivered today, and it does the same thing. I have learned something new, but I don't know what it means. I remembered I had an HDMI in-line amp from another application years ago. I installed this using a cheap 10' JAE cable, the Sewell amp, and another 50' cheap cable. It works perfectly. In fact it works with any combination of cables as long as the amp is in the line at the source. The only thing that makes sense to me is that with the amp in the circuit it is preventing some kind of a signal feeding back to the A/V causing it to reselect it's input every 30-60 seconds. Anybody have any ideas?
