"If you want to support Auro-3D, DTS:X, and Dolby Atmos content at the same time, you’ll need to arrange your home theater with the so-called “unified speaker layout” where you have two front height and two rear height channels. To take advantage of the overhead, voice of God speaker with the unified speaker layout you must use the 11.1 amp assign speaker layout."

I am having a hard time wrapping my head around this layout, and can't find a pix to visualize it. so would this just be a traditional 5.1 setup for the lowest level (L, R, C, 2 surrounds), front height x 2 and rear height x 2 for the middle level and one VOG for the top level? isn't that only 10 channels? and if you do 7.1 for the first level than that makes 12 channels? o_O

It is a bottom layer of 5.1 and a height layer of 5 above that with an additional speaker on the center of ceiling for the top layer. 5.1+5+1
