Toshiba hd a35 vs. hd xa2

Last weekend, it became very difficult to get an xa2. I've read one review that said the xa2 performs better than the third gen players. So I am debating whether to hold out for an xa2 or just get an a35. Any insights?

I ordered a Toshiba XA2 yesteday from J and R. They said they had 60 still when i called !! I wanted it mainly for the silicon optix reon chip. I tried the HDA2 and it didnt do a good job with sd-dvd when compared to my denon-2900.


Also the XA2 is built better than the A35. I was able to get it for $500 since amazon had it for the same price so JandR price matched.

Yep, that XA2 is nice Picked one up when they had a sale in Jun, same price
