Must be... The HD DVD pack is $25 or so if I recall.

I would consider $60 for the Blu-Ray a so, so deal. The first two movies are $20 each and the last movie should be $20 by now. It might still have the $28 price on it, but it should be less. IMHO, it's essentially a bundle rather than a buy a lot and save deal.

Not making a format war statement as HD DVD is defunct... However, for those that own both, I would advise them to consider the HD DVD. Paramount often gave HD DVD better audio (DD+ @ 1.5 Mbps for red vs. DD at 640Kbps for Blu). Check the specs...

Yes, the Blu-ray set. I bought it when it was originally out before it was pulled and paid $10 more. I own both, and both are essentially the same - there were a few easter eggs that are on the BDs that are not on the HD-DVD (M:i-III). The individual titles are each listed as $22.99, but previously only 3 was priced higher, the other two were $24 each. It isn't really a deal, just a box set, but the price is lower than what it was when it was originally released.

I don't know if they are advertising it, but basically all HD-DVDs are $9.99 to $11.99, with a few even being around $6.00 (not top teir titles). Oddly enough, they aren't selling even at those prices. I am waiting for them to drop even lower before I pick some up. I have been getting better deals than that used.

The $6.00 ones are Weinstein titles. I'm not surprised they're not selling in Silicon Valley. My guess is anyone that would've bought has already done so. In Austin, there are still some sales. However, we're not overflowing with inventory like in Irving. That sale, of course, continues this weekend. I didn't see any Blu-Ray deals this weekend. JG, do y'all have any Blu deals? We just have it announced that Starship Troopers is $19.99. Yawn...
