Dolby has sponsored a scientific study of how the Pink Floyd song “The Great Gig in the Sky” affects brain waves. Conducted by The Pollen Audio Group, the study analyzed the brain waves of 100 people as they listened to the song in Dolby Atmos. Insights gleaned from the study could improve audio-therapy techniques or help streaming services create personalized visuals to go with streaming audio. How does your brain look while listening to this musical masterpiece?

The Dark Side Of The Moon 50th Anniversary in Dolby Atmos is a must-listen for not only Pink Floyd fans and fans of immersive audio in general, but also for anyone curious about why this technology is as transformative as going from B&W to color TV and mono to stereo audio. I can't wait to see the video they are producing based on this experiment.

Here's a bit of relevant trivia: The OG female (wordless) voice on that track was done by UK singer Clare Torry. She got paid £30 for her work in the studio (in 1973). Then in 2004, she filed a lawsuit and eventually settled for an undisclosed amount and was given proper credits.

Sorry, NOTHING from 50 years ago that I have heard 100's of time is a must listen.
People need to move on.
Man, you must be a joy to be around! Is it OK if people like stuff you don't, or do we all just need to "move on"? Get out of here with your nonsense.
