Not quite sure which section to put this in. I posted as well in the Amps/Receivers section.

I have a few questions for you audioholic experts.
I just aquired a sub.
The subwoofer is unpowered and is a dbx model db-sw15 plus which i cannot find any online info on. It is a non-ported box with an interior volume of about 2.5 cubic feet. The box has a single 12” sub that has both L and R channels connected to it on opposite ends. A label on the back states that it needs 25 to 250 watts of power and has an impedance of 6.3 ohms.

I have a 2ch Yamaha p2075c 150watt/ch Amp. The receiver has not arrived yet, but is a Yamaha sx-v650.

Questions:
1. The sub has a L and R input. should I just put 1 amp channel to each input?
2. Should I bridge my amp?
3. The pre-out on the receiver is 1 RCA connector, the amp has a bare wire, and XLR inputs for each channel. Should I splice the RCA cable, connect the receiver to 1 channel, set the amp to mono (it has a stereo and mono option on back), then bridge the output channels? This still leaves question #1 unknown though.
4. Do #1 and set the amp to mono, then connect the receiver and amp like #3? thus leaving it unbridged.

Any help would be appreaciate.
Thanks.
