Smithsonian X 3D Explorer

I just saw this yesterday and think it's wicked cool. The Smithsonian has some things (including fossils) available for 3D viewing online, and you can even download files to create your own 3D prints! The home page for it is linked here.

For example, you can check out a 3D image of a mammoth skeleton (scanned from a real fossil) here. The textures remind me of my Playstation from 20 years ago, but it just astounds me at the speed and capability of online systems these days. The fact that you can download and print out your own model is extremely cool. Well, if you have a 3D printer.

Let me guess your next question: "Where can I go to get 3D images of naked people?" :D I don't know.
