I found an Adcom GFA-555 at a local thrift store for $150. Is this a good price for a good amp or too much for an old amp?

Adcom has a pretty good reputation, and that seems to be a fair price. Of course, see if they will take less.

Well, after watching it for several weeks, the store dropped the price. I got the GFA-555 and a GTP-500 for $150. I got it home and measured the DC offset and got 38.5mv on the left channel and 13.3mv on the right channel. This thing sounds awesome. I am thrilled with this purchase.

You got a very good deal. Those amps sell for far more used. They're with every penny at what they go for.
