i really like both the characters, benedict is awesome, but i have to give it to robert downey jr and warner bros. for creating such an atmosphere, way back in time and the feel is so good.
anybody done with season 3? just finished episode 1.

I like all 3 versions of SH that are currently going. Sherlock from across the pond, the movies, and Elementary with Jonny Miller. Each brings something a little different to the table, with excellent acting and writing (IMHO).

As for Benedict Vs Robert Downey Jr, I also appreciate both approaches. I've got both movies on Blu ray as well as seasons 1 & 2 of Sherlock with season 3 preordered. My wife is utterly obsessed with the show though, so we watch that a lot more than the movies. Haven't really gotten into Elementary, though I did watch an episode or two of it and thought it was decent.
