Sanyo speaker wiring

I have a somewhat vintage Sanyo TP 220 turntable, RD 250 cassette deck, JT 350 tuner with stereo amplifier. I have 2 Sanyo model SS 550, 8 Ohm cabinet speakers. I recently moved twice and lost the wires that connect the speakers to the stereo. I have no idea where I can find, or what I can use for replacement wiring. Any suggestions? :)

Theoretically, you can use any wire. I recommend 16 gauge, but the issue may be what type of terminations are on them. On that, I have no idea.

Best as I can tell from this picture I found on-line, your Sanyo speaker uses common spring-clip connectors. If that’s the case with the ones you have, you can use any speaker wire, commonly available at any hardware store. As Mark noted, you should use at least 16 ga.
