A pair of mint Usher S-520 for $315 a good buy? I offered $300. The guy wouldn't budge. Anything out there better for $315? Thanks.

I can't say if there's anything better out there for you for $315, but I wanted to link to Tom Andry's review of those in case you hadn't seen it. Tom thought that they were a great value.

My two cents - $15 isn't all that much more to pay to get something that you want and will probably use for a while.

Have you heard the usher's? Also check out some of the reviews on line including this site.

They are nice little monitors that retail for >$400. $315 sounds like a pretty good deal.

No, I have not heard them. Most reviews are positive except this one:

Here is another one in which the review briefly compared the S-520 to various speakers. There was no "this speaker destroys the others" winner.

Wow, was this a deal offering it for the price or a used pair being sold privately? I can't find them less than $475

Deal didn't go through. He lives about 1.5 hr from me, and was set to deliver on Sunday but couldn't make it. I am too lazy to go to his house. He still has it for sale. Dude thinks they are better than Totem Rainmaker. Yeah, it's a good deal.
