Room Layout Help / Where to put 'Bass Traps'

My current living room / mini studio.

The two blue boxes are yamaha hs80ms... I also have the sub, but I figure I'll add that into the mix once I get just these two bad boys figured out.

Currently each speaker is 8" from the wall at its closest point. Sitting on acoustic foam on a heavy wooden stand.

The 3 tables are glass and I'm sure not good, but I can't part with them.

Anyone see a better way to layout my two speakers considering the couch, tables and fish tank still need to fit in there?

If leaving the layout I was thinking of butting a large bass trap behind the tv, all the way up to the ceiling. Then a small one in the remaining 6 corners in the room.

Or should I put something more full frequency foam behind the TV to minimize reflections / standing waves behind the speakers?
