for some reason my source is only giving sub channel bass and pretty much nothing to other channels. So it’s like a hole in the sound effects.

Have you removed the spectrum channel from Roku and added it back. This is what Roku told me " The channels that users assign to the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the service provider directly, which in this case is Spectrum.

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
  2. Move to the right and highlight the channel you wish to remove.
  3. Press Star on your remote to open the Options menu.
  4. Select Remove channel and confirm when prompted.
And then you add Spectrum back.

Can you provide if you are using a AVR and or what your speakers are / type .

Have you read this : https://support.roku.com/article/360011704154

PS: I don't have the spectrum channel/app.

Yeah the spectrum app is using is a poor audio source also , so it’s not exactly any good at all with dynamic EQ off .
Onkyo 818 with Klipch icon speakers and two 110watt 10” subs .
I’m trying to figure out if I should run my towers 50-60-80 hz or full range .
klipsch icon kf-26 , but front of my room is lacking bass that’s why I’m not set on 80 for sure .

I got the bass working again but during commercials , the sub channel is so loud like very annoying +3db or more . And it’s like the port tune is same hertz as the commercials bass boost . o_O
so loud!

Yes, what sound codec does this app use ?
I barely have enough bass during the sports/tv show , then all commercials are loud like movie trailer effects .

Yeah the bass to fronts in pretty non existent the compression of the sound gives it to the sub only, sometimes I gotta try many sound modes for it to sound good.
Cheapos at spectrum can’t run 5.1 when Netflix does :(.
