Hi,
I've recently picked up an asus xonar essence stx sound card, which i've been enjoying with a pair of beyerdynamic headphones. The outputs on the card are 1/4 and rca. I have an RCAs to my current speakers which i wish to replace. I was looking at the KEF X300A Digital Hi-Fi which i liked because of their attention to mids and highs. Base is great, but i listen to alot of classical and jazz. As i understand, the KEFs use a usb connection, which won't work if i want to plug direct into my sound card. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestion as to similar sounding and priced ($500-$800) speakers?
