I am learning a little about the design of speaker systems. I'm not afraid of the math or electronics, but when it comes to audio I'm a complete beginner. I had no idea that speaker cabinets served any non-aesthetic purposes.
I have found some sources describing mathematical models, but they imply these are more suited to lower frequency. My question is, do these models still apply at higher frequencies?
I can include links to the sources that I am looking at, but this is my first post on this forum, and I'm not sure if I am allowed to.
I have a project in mind, but my main goal is understanding, so I am more interested in the math than a program that will easily give me the answer.
