putting it all together

I have a Samsung UN55C7000 Full HD 3D 1080P LED TV on the way to my house.

I purchased a Samsung BD-C5500C blue ray disc dvd player. I was told that I did not need a special blue ray player for 3D. Is that true? Should i get a different DVD player?

Looking for advice on what reciever/speakers to go with this. I saw a Bose Acoustamass 6 series III bundle with an Onkyo HT-RC 230 reciever and UP-A1 ipod dock. price was 800 at sam's club.

Steer me right please.

Uh, you need a 3D capable player to play 3D titles. Look at Panasonic's selection, I think they might even have three of them already.

Return all of your audio selections and start over.

I've read here someone say the Denon 591 is a good receiver for the money.

With the $500 left over, I'd probably look towards some Infinity Primus 152 or 162 for your mains, add a center. I think they are like $85 each at Crutchfield.

You will probably have to stretch your budget another $100 to get a decent entry sub, and you still don't have rear speakers yet.

But even that 3.1 system will run circles around the Bose rig.
