Not a shabby frequency respose except for that dip between 1 and 2K

Hardly, I always liked LSi series SQ (or it's updated LSi/M series)
The SQ was never their weak spot, it is their value is the issue ...

2k/Each for towers or $750/ea for bookshelves

I suspect it's going to be a while, if ever, before we see these appearing on the Polk ebay store. The LSi series was much more appealing to the value conscious when they appeared there at ~40% off.

Wow thats a pretty good looking speaker. Would love to hear it crossed over with a good sub.

I listened to them at RMAF last Sunday. Great all around speaker and doesn't need a sub for 2 channel listening IMO.
