//Pioneer d914 overheating//

I'm writing this topic because my pioneer vsxd914 receiver, in lower volumes(-30) is getting very hot, the fan doesnt work at this volume just at higher marks.
my question is if this is ok to happen with this reciver or its not working properly?
any imputs is apreciated

Do you have enough ventilation space above the receiver ? At least 4" ?

yes i have the proper space for ventilation set up.
any toughts?
