Panasonic plasma advice

I would like to get a new plasma in the 55-60 inch range, and I would like good quality.

1. Are there any significant differences between the new Panasonic plasmas and last year's models?
2. Which model should I consider?

Based on the reviews I've seen so far, this year's models are significantly better. They are also cheaper - the P60ST60 retails at 1699, and you can find it for less if you look around (I think Sears is $1499 but scarce availabilty right now).

I picked up the P60ST60 on Tuesday and I am absolutely blown away so far. Granted my old TV (52" Sony KDL-W5100) was outmoded tech, but I am seeing clear and massive improvements in blacks, shading, crispness and color. I paid retail at Best Buy and don't regret a single penny of it.

Down side is poor 3D performance. The review also touches on what you get by stepping up to VT series.

The new zt-60 or vt-60 (if you have the money) I heard they both are better then the kuro in black levels
