A friend of mine just purchased one of these and this was the first I had heard of this technology.

Does anybody here have one? Does it work well or is it just a gimmick?

Panasonic states it is "slightly less effective" in producing a 3d image than with a 3d source, but it claims to work with any 2d source including the web.

My Samsung has this also. It sort of works, and varies depending on the content, but it does not make it look anywhere near as good as a well done 3D material.

I have a Samsung 8000 series led tv with this on it and though it is kind of cool, the previous posts are correct. It isn't a worthy reason to buy a tv. A well done 3D movie is way better. It is cool for football games though.
