I'm going to be mounting 2 outdoor speakers under a patio awning and was wondering if I had to do anything special to the speaker cable connection? It will be partially protected from the rain, but I'm sure it will still get a little wet. Just wondering what happens when the speaker connections/binding posts get wet... will it cause any problems?
Will be wiring through a hole in the side wall from the living room and wrapping it around the house under the awning as Zone 2. 14 guage 2-conductor speaker wire from Monoprice (500 feet roll). The run is about 150 feet or so. Thanks in advance for the advice!
BTW, the speakers are JBL Northridge 6" Outdoor Speakers
