Hello everyone I have been looking for a player that can play it all cd DVD bluray SACD and most important is networking now i am just not sure what to go for the
OPPO BDP-105AU AUDIOPHILE NETWORK 3D BLU-RAY PLAYER
Or
CAMBRIDGE AUDIO AZUR 752BD BLU-RAY PLAYER
The players are both capable of SACD networking and lots more but not sure what to buy is oppo an American or Chinese company ? I know Cambridge audio is from England I know everything is made in China but there is quality control even if it's made in china , I need a good player that can play my CDs like a high end player I've been looking at the oppo inside and it looks like they've done it that player is full of capacitors and much more but lifestyle store my hifi shop recommend the Cambridge audio both players got stereo per outs only oppo has Xlr out and RCA. The oppo is $1500 AUD and Cambridge is $1400 AUD. Check out my Hi Fi setup http://youtu.be/oZn5W2IJoBA

Not sure about the 752m but basically most of the previous Cambridge models used Oppo internals, so just get an Oppo. Regardless of where they are assembled, most of the components are manufactured in China; there's no avoiding that in this day and age. The 105 is an excellent player.

I agree with j_garcia; get the Oppo and call it a day. I imagine Oppo does a better job pushing updates out to its customers than Cambridge Audio. Not sure Oppo firmware will work on Cambridge players due to their slight tweaking.

Now I had to go search Oppo and I kind of want their new phone...

They are a Chinese based company with their California office being a separately operated entity.

Not sure why anyone wouldn't just get the Oppo to start with.

I would go with the OPPO, they're customer service is tops and they stand behind their product.

Oppo Digital
Chinese manufacturer that specialises in selling budget and mid end multi-format optical disk players, some of which have networking abilities as well. The company started operating around 2004 and did originally distribute a wider range of Asian sourced consumer audio and AV products including TV's, portable DVD players and music systems but primarily found success with their comparatively more upmarket DVD players and slowly shed their other product lines. Please note that their homepage has no English language info, go to their USA page for such.
Distribution: In Brazil by KVS3 Comercio de Audio e Video, in Denmark by Studiosound and in Finland by Concept Hi-Fi
