I don't care about the 5 watts.
I don't care that the 818 is only THX select2, not ultra2.
I have no idea what "PUSH-PULL" design means.
Each offers more than enough inputs.


Digital crossover processing network sounds useful, but far from vital.
Pure mode doesn't sound vital either.


VLSC sounds like a nice feature to have.
A second video out sounds great, so long as its independent.

The big thing I'm wondering about is sub EQ. I plan on running 2 subs, but the 818 doesn't have sub EQ. The 1010 however does. I think it would be a great feature to have, but the price jump is $550 on A4L, $400 retail. That seems like an exceptionally steep jump in price for a feature or two.

Would anyone care to give me some thoughts?
