Hi, I am just about to start university and have bought an ground floor flat to live in. I have been into music for several years and own the following system:
Ruark Epilogue II Loudspeakers
Naim Nait 5i AMP
NAD C541i cd player
denon 260 MK2 Tuner
Black Rhobidium Interconnects (the one that looks like bellwire)

However I am now in the market for a 7.1 Home cinema, so what does everyone suggest?

I already own my speakers that I want to use;
2 x B&W DM604 S3
1 x B&W ASW600
1 x B&W LCR60
2 x DM601 S3
2 x DM602 S3

1st questions, is it better to have the 601's behind or at the side?

Now I have:
£200-£250 for a DVD Player
£500 for an AV Amp
£700 for a TV

You said flat!

Welcome to the forum!
I'm going to assume you're in England form the pound sign designations with your prices. I'm originally from Coventry so that maybe gives us something in common.

Sound and Vision mag liked the 601's to the rear as surround back channels and I'd imagine you could use the 602's as the side surrounds.

As for suggestions for the rest of your equipment, what units are you considering. I ask that because a lot of times, the manufacturers develop different models for North America vs. Europe and we may have different model numbers for them when in fact they may or may not be the same item. I guess a few URL's would help in that matter...unless someone in your part of the world posts here and knows what the domestic market model names and specs are.
