I have a Onkyo tx-709 receiver & Polk tsi-400 for my fronts a polk psw110 sub & axiom qs4 . My friend just gave me a pr of polk fxi-a4's . My question is should I put the a4's as sides or back surround's or the qs4 in the back or on the side ? And what should I set the a4's as dipole or bipole depending on wher I put them ? Thank you for any help you can give me !!!!

I say sell both the Polk Fxi and Axiom qs4, and get a matching pair of bookshelf speakers for the surround channels. Mixing the Polk and Axoim surround speakers will get you one schizophrenic surround sound stage. I would good with bookshelf speakers for 7 channel systems, as 7 channel systems call for more discrete surround sound imaging than the qs4 or fxi speakers are capable of (I would also sell the Polk Tsi towers and polk sub too, both are crying for an upgrade).
