multi-zone audio system with communications

I have been searching for a good whole house multi-zone audio system that has a paging/intercom system integrated (mic's built into the zone controllers for intercom). I have only found a couple (M&S and ZON), but they have local amplification, which I don't want.

any base amplifiers that deliver line-out audio to all zones that support intercom features?

Smart Homes usually end up integrating paging functionality with a phone system as every single room in the home usually has a phone in it which can be nicely setup for individual and true global access from any phone to any phone.

If you want to use speakers in the rooms with head-end amplification, talk to a local Crestron dealer as there are some options there.
