Hello,

I have a problem and I'm hoping that someone out there can help me.

I have a component rack with 3 motorola DVR cable boxes installed in it. I have three TV's installed in my games room.

The problem is when I use the the Monster RF remote to control the DVR units, it changes all three boxes to the same channel.

Is there any way of programming the remote to control a DVR units individually so they broadcast a seperate channel to each of the TV's?

Any help would be great.

Thank you.

The problem is that you have three identical components that all use the same remote command (remote control codes are just numbers). The only way to solve that problem using a single remote control is if the remote supports assignable emitters so you could have Cable1, Cable2, Cable3 and each device 'mode' sends the command to a specific emitter that is attached to a specifc component.

If the Monster remote cannot do that, then you are SOL. Remotes from Universal Remote, like the MX-350 and above, can do it.
