Hey, I was thinking of using this cable for my Sonicwave 3.5mm to female rca adapter, to connect to my receiver's multi-channel in.

Or maybe this cable

I need your thoughts, an sp/dif cable is 75ohm, as this one. However, I read that sp/dif is a specification that has limited bandwidth. However, I don't think the has to do with the type of cable.

Did I make the wrong choice?

You could buy 6 of those cables to connect to your multi-ch input or you could buy a set of 6 analog audio cables. I don't see what you are getting at with the 'limited bandwidth' of the s/pdif spec - it is not related to the the cables you need for the multi-ch input.

Limited bandwidth would apply to digital, but if you are passing an analog signal it is irrelevant.

This sonicwave adaptor does what? Does it output multichannel analog or does it just go from 3.5mm to a single or dual RCA or multichannel (6) RCA?

The Sonicwave adapter takes a 3.5mm signal and outputs it to two rca female jacks from my soundcard.

Also, garcia, I can't send you any PM messages because it says your mailbox is full,

Always remember that the messages box isn't full:)
