Hi,
I just got my new Macintosh mc205 and I would appreciate if I can have help on the following questions, I can't wait to start using it:

1. I have the 5.1 speakers system with an ampedance of 6 Ohm. In the back of the Mcintosh there 2 options for impedance 4 or 8 Ohm, which one is better/safe? As I still cannot post URLs then here is the name of my speakers System 8200e THX Ultra 2 from atlantic technology. you can find
easly the full specs by googling it.

2. I will be using the AV receiver Onkyo tx-sr 875 as processor. This processr (AV receiver) has an output to an external amplifier via the RCA connectors. I was using the Biamp options of the Onkyo directly to my 2 front speakers using Biamp speaker cables. Now I will connect the speakers to the amplifiers and the amlifier to the onkyo.Shall I turn off the Biamp option in the Onkyo? in case yes or no, shall I change the Biamp speaker cables to a normal one or is it okay if I keep using the biamp speaker cables directly from Mcintosh amplifier?

Thank you in advance,

mine forever
