My Onkyo 608 seems to have more listening modes than I could ever use. When I have it set to a THX setting I have to double, or more, the volume compared to when I use a NEO 6, or my preferred setting 'Pl11 movie?' I think it is.
Then with music modes there are just as many settings. I'm experimenting with Direct mode now. I typically listen to music in 2 channel. But with some jazz, techno, or even classical, I will listen in the pll2? or neo 6 music. Sometimes, even all channel.
I don't really have question as much as I would be interested in others thoughts on setting modes to help my better understand how to get the most out of my system.
