LG 60UH6030 4K UHD will be 50% of at boxing day

Retails up here for $1999.99 available for $999.99 on Boxing Day. I wonder if I should spring for it based on LG's rep for shabby QC. Also, none of my equipement is 4K compatibel and I wonder if there will be a handshaking issue between it and my old Yamaha RX-V1800

Is it OLED? If not OLED, then I wouldn't (personally) even consider LG.

The 6035 is $700 at Best Buy right now. It's not OLED, so I would probably pass if you already have a decent display.

I'm thinking of NOT getting it based on LG's poor QC Rep. However after chatting with a couple of colleagues at work who menmentioned that they had problems with Samsung, I'm beginning to wonder if it's just luck of the draw on whether or not you end up with a lemon. Strictly talking displays here.
