I have the cheapest Paradigm sub woofer bought way back in 2013. The 1st. one was a dud, after contacting them they asked me to send them the electronics. Which I did. They sent back a replacement. It works fine for +5 years now. Recently got an email. Asking about how the woofer is performing still. Offers in the email were present too.
This is way beyond normal customer service. Almost at nothing they are offering me a moderate upgrade. The bigger point is their concern - in terms of getting back to me with feedback after their repair and after 5 years.
