i have a klipsch rpw10 that fell victim to a electrical short at my house and insurance is paying for partial replacement cost. the sub still turns on and works properly but it now doesnt auto shut off. i like the sub and how it performs at my house in the living room. i was thinking about buying a new amp from parts express and then building a new cabinet or box . im trying to save money on this project. has anyone ever done anything like this project before or should i go with another option???

Why not check with Klipsch and see if their parts department can sell a replacement amp plate.
